Holy cow, you guys! I'm so excited to be showing you this fun, colorful, and romantic Catonsville wedding that took place back in October! This was my third time shooting alongside Katherine Elizabeth Photography as a second shooter, and I'm SO glad I said yes. I tell Katherine this every time we work together, but she has the best couples! Danielle and Vic shared a beautiful and joyful day among family and friends, and I know they will cherish those moments for a lifetime.
This was probably the most colorful weddings I went to all year! Danielle, the bride, chose bold pops of red, orange, wine, lavender, and gold for her decor, and the bridesmaids looked all kinds of amazing in the their flowy, floor-length merlot dresses. The guys looked tack sharp in their beige suits with simple roses for the boutonnieres. When the bridal party shot finally came together, I was quite surprised at how flawless everyone looked. Danielle did a fantastic job planning her color palette.
And can we please talk for a minute about the brides STUNNING black lace wedding dress? When Katherine told me her bride would be wearing a black dress that day, my jaw dropped. Only a bride like Danielle could pull that off... and how gorgeous was she!
Later on, at the reception, glittery pumpkins were displayed as place cards to guide guests to their appropriate table numbers. The place smelled divine thanks to the sugary sweetness of the gourmet donuts and cupcakes that were set on display for cocktail hour. This is when I knew Danielle and I could be friends... we both love donuts!! As time carried on, kind words were shared by the couple's Best Man (brother of the Groom) and Maid of Honor during the toasts, both of which brought me to tears as I stood quietly across the room. Nothing sits more closely to my heart than the relationship I share with my own family. The toasts hit me so close to home that I felt for the slightest moment I was a part of their family. I'm so happy for Danielle and Vic, and I know their families must be extremely proud, too. Congratulations to the both of you!
